Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung talked about the achievements in bilateral relations between the two countries when greeting the governor. He said Vietnam was keen build a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries. He was pleased with the investments by companies from Saitama in Dong Nai, and hoped they would find it easy to develop their businesses in Vietnam. Governor Ueda said Japanese businesses were interested in Vietnam, especially in manufacturing car parts, electronics, optics and food processing. Saitama Prefecture is the fifth largest local government unit in Japan, and is located near the capital Tokyo.
