Vietnam International Trade Fair opens in Ho Chi Minh City

VTV.vn - The Vietnam International Trade Fair 2019 (Vietnam Expo 2019) opened in Ho Chi Minh City on December 4, bringing together around 850 businesses from 20 countries and territories worldwide including Germany, India, China, Malaysia, Spain and

Covering a total area of 10,000 s.q.m, the fair features 900 booths showcasing a wide range of products in various fields such as hardware and hand tools, electrical appliances, and the gardening sector.

A series of workshops discussing green space, and solutions to increase productivity for businesses in the context of the fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) will be scheduled as part of the Vietnam Expo 2019.

Hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the event is designed to provide practical opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to boost exports, promote their latest products and services to customers, expand domestic market and seek trade deals.

According to Nguyen Van Nga, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Authority of Southern Affairs, by featuring various fields and industries, the expo is expected to create a platform for participating businesses to meet and boost trading activities.

The expo will run until December 7 at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC), 799 Nguyen Van Linh street, Tan Phu Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
