The Politburo member and NA deputies informed voters of the results of the recently concluded 14th NA’s eighth session.
At the meeting, Politburo member Mai analysed and clarified the objectives and strategies for socio-economic development of the country in the past 10 years as well as gave forecasts for the coming years.
She also highlighted the impacts of the fourth industrial revolution, social networks and other factors that Vietnam can take advantages from to overcome challenges, towards stronger steps.
* On the same day, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security General To Lam joined NA’s deputies from Bac Ninh Province in a meeting with voters in Luong Tai District.

The Minister informed voters of results of the 14th NA’s eighth session, along with the socio-economic situation and security and order of the country in 2019.
He affirmed that despite numerous difficulties and challenges, Vietnam gained positive achievements in many fields this year. In particular, the People's Public Security Force has implemented many plans and measures to firmly ensure national security, added the Minister.
General To Lam affirmed that the Ministry of Public Security would continue to enhance the leadership in ensuring the country’s security and order and suppressing criminals, bringing a happy and prosperous life to the people; as well as to implement measures to defeat the conspiracy and anti-sabotage activities of hostile forces and reactionaries.
* Also yesterday, the PCC’s Secretary and Chief of the PCC's Office Nguyen Van Nen met voters in the border district of Chau Thanh in Tay Ninh Province.
Local voters appreciated the 14th NA’s eighth sitting, with many important contents closely following the life and aspirations of the people.
The PCC’s Secretary Nen asked the local Party committee and authorities to consider and address the voters’ suggestions at the meeting.
