Vietnam continues to improve access to electricity

The country ranks 2nd in ASEAN in terms of simplified procedures and processing time of the electricity sector. The results are also based on the expense of connecting to the national grid, liability of electricity suppliers, and transparency of electricity prices. This is the 5th consecutive year Vietnam's Getting Electricity Index improved the most in terms of rank in the region. Thanks to constant renovation and combined solutions, Vietnam's rank climbed from 156th in 2013 to 27th in 2018.
