Following the success of its inaugural edition themed “Vietnam Changed My Life”, the Vietnam - Come and Love Gala returns for its second season under the theme “Where I Call the Future”. The program continues to share the authentic stories of foreigners who have chosen Vietnam not merely as a destination, but as a place to put down roots and build a future.
As Vietnam deepens its global integration, with an open economy, a dynamic living environment, and rich cultural and historical depth, more foreigners are coming to Vietnam to live, work, study, and start businesses. For them, Vietnam’s allure extends beyond its landscapes and people, it offers opportunities to pursue dreams, contribute value, and unlock untapped potential.
This year’s gala tells the stories of guests from four countries who are united by a shared conviction that their future is intertwined with Vietnam’s.
The program highlights the inspiring journeys of foreigners who have chosen Vietnam as their long-term home. Guests include Japanese Mayu Ino, a Japanese friend who has worked alongside Vietnamese farmers for nearly 30 years; Greig Craft, whose efforts have helped transform the lives of thousands of children with disabilities; and Ronan Collin, who showcases Vietnamese villages to the world. The program also features gentle, everyday vignettes of people loving Vietnam in deeply personal ways.

In addition, the gala offers intimate, emotionally resonant glimpses into the lives of foreigners who love Vietnam in their own unique ways. Among them is Will Killen, a multi-talented British artist born in 1991, currently residing in Hoi An. After arriving in Vietnam in late 2024, Will decided to stay for the warmth of the people, the comfortable cost of living, and the sense of peace and safety he found here. In less than a year, he has learned to speak Vietnamese with notable fluency and has built a strong social media presence with nearly TikTok 160,000 followers through Vietnamese music covers and videos documenting his journey of learning Vietnamese with locals.
This year’s gala is hosted by Huyen Tran and Rufino Aybar, who connect the life stories with the studio space and carefully staged performances. Field reporters accompany the guests, capturing footage rich in experience and emotion. Modern LED technology and graphics are utilized to enhance the program’s message, creating a fresh and layered storytelling experience.
