The inspection trips covered 9 common fishing areas in the Gulf of Tonkin.
The purpose of the joint inspection is to enhance effectiveness in implementing the regulations on inspection coordination between Vietnamese and Chinese coast guards. This will also help preserve and develop the two countries’ friendship and cooperation, create a peaceful and stable environment and improve relations between the coast guards of Vietnam and China.
