VTV.vn - Nearly one week after the coordinated bombings killed 359 people on Easter Sunday, Sri Lankan authorities have warned of new additional attacks that may occur in places of worship.

According to the police, the same groups that carried out the Easter blasts have threatened to attack mosques where Muslim religious leaders are buried. An increasing number of security forces have been mobilized across the country. Many shops and restaurants remain closed in Colombo, where a nighttime curfew has been in effect.

The police have released a number of photographs of purported suspects, including 2 sons of spice merchant Mohamed Ibrahim. Almost all are from wealthy and well-educated backgrounds.

Security in Sri Lanka remains unstable and faces the threat of revenge from locals against Muslims.
