VFF supports flood-stricken localities

The delegation visited the families of victims, of  those missing as well as families whose homes were damaged in the aftermath. Until now, residents whose homes were swept away by the floods have been assigned temporary housing and local authorities have allotted new land for residents to build their new homes. The delegation has called for maximum support for all rescue and relief efforts, and to ensure evacuation of those living in high risk landslide-prone areas. The VFF has decided to provide Ha Giang and Lai Chau 1 billion VND or around 44,000 USD  each to alleviate local residents' losses.
