A ceremony was held in the northern province of Ha Nam to mark the celebrations.
Delegates reviewed the glorious traditions of the Vietnamese People’s Army as well as the armed forces in the locality over the past 75 years.
* As many as 1,532 retired senior army officials in Nghe An Province gathered at a ceremony to review the history of the People’s Army as well as the contributions made by the local armed forces and people to the national construction and defence.
* The Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee organised a meeting of nearly 1,000 retired army officials.
At the event, the province’s leaders expressed their gratitude to the army officials for their contributions, while hoping that they would significantly contribute to developing political organisations in the locality.
* Leaders of Quang Nam Province hosted a meeting for generals and officials of Vietnamese People’s Army in the locality.
On the occasion, the leaders presented ten National Protection Orders, second and third classes, to former officials and soldiers of the Quang Nam Military Command.
* A fine art exhibition opened at the Vietnam Fine Art Museum in Hanoi, introducing 50 works of art created by various paintersand sculptors to honour the achievements and victories of the Vietnamese People’s Army.
