U19s qualify for World Cup
VTV.vn - Vietnam's under 19s qualified for the 2017 FIFA under 20 World Cup for the first time with a one-nil win against the Bahrain on Sunday night.
After a goalless first half, Vietnam took the lead unexpectedly in the 72nd minute through a goal by Trần Thành. The win means Vietnam's U19s advanced to the semi-final of the 2016 AFC under 19 CHAMPIONSHIP and qualified for the 2017 FIFA U20 World Cup in South Korea.
