The two national treasures being recognized are a pottery vase from the Phung Nguyen (2000-1500 BC) cultural epoch, which dates back 3,000 - 3,400 years and a Ngoa Van - Yen Tu golden box, which dates back to the fourteenth century in Quang Ninh. The national treasures were recognized by the Prime Minister in December 2018 along with 20 other artifacts from across the country. The two treasures are currently on display at the Quang Ninh Museum.
