At a press briefing, a Ministry spokesperson said the first case is a 22-year old woman in District two and the second a 43-year old woman in District 12.
Both patients exhibited the usual symptoms of Zika, including rashes and fever with conjunctivitis or red eyes, the spokesperson said, noting subsequent blood testing proved positive.
Neither of the patients were hospitalized and are convalescing at their homes. Both cases are believed to be locally-transmitted cases.
