The ministry disbursed domestic capital of over VND31.9 trillion in the 11-month period, reaching 80.9% of the plan, and disbursed foreign capital of over VND4.6 trillion, reaching 76% of the plan.
The ministry said that its disbursement rate in November was 85%, which did not meet expectation, but the rate is also higher than the average rate of the entire nation at70%.
Director of the Department of Planning and Investment under the Ministry of Transport Nguyen Danh Huy said that the public investment from the domestic sources can be disbursed 100% of the set plan by the end of January 2021 while the disbursement of public investment from foreign sources is right on track.
Some public projects have completed the disbursement as scheduled such as the construction projects of the Lach Huyen port, Tan Vu – Lach Huyen car road, National Highway 217 (the second phase), Hung Ha Bridge andThinh Long Bridge, among others.
The Transport Ministry also asks relevant units to accelerate the bidding procedures and quickly complete the payment documents to ensure the full disbursement of public investment as scheduled.
