Huynh briefed his guest on some of the official results of Vietnam’s 12th National Party Congress, strategies and socio-economic plans. He said he hoped that the traditional friendship and co-operation between the two parties would continue to be maintained. Negre invited the Communist Party of Vietnam to attend the Communist Party of France’s 37th congress slated to take place this June.
