Ngọc beat out 37 other contestants to win the title. The first and second runners-up were Nguyễn Thị Ngọc Huyền from Hanoi, and Nguyễn Phương Khánh, a student currently studying in Singapore.
The new Miss Sea Vietnam Global won a crown worth US$74,500, and a cash prize of US$22,000. National pageant Miss Sea Vietnam Global 2018 featured 70 contestants who were selected in preliminary rounds in Vietnam, Poland, the US and Australia.

Kim Ngoc is 1.71 meters tall with measures 83-61-93. She wears a yellow bikini in the swimsuit competition ahead of the grand finale.
