Thua Thien Hue province relocates home to protect relics

VTV.vn - Thua Thien Hue Province is making its biggest relocation in its history with 4,200 households and 15,000 people from the Hue Citadel area between 2019 and 2021.

The province is speeding up preparation and they expect to complete the relocation site in Area 1 in September, 2019.

Hue royal complex has been officially recognised by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site since 1993. The relocation of the residents will help better preserve the relics.
