The plant, a joint venture between Vietnamese and Thai companies, has a total investment of over $210 million. This was the biggest renewable energy project in the central region and is expected to help boost socio-economic development, ensuring national energy security and generating jobs for local labourers.
Construction of the 265ha plant with a capacity of 257MWP started in November 2018.
