Meliá Hotels International (MHI) and Vietnam Airlines have once again joined forces to bring meaningful travel experiences to children in need through the third edition of Dream Trip, a flagship corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative rooted in the belief that every child deserves the chance to explore, dream, and grow.
This year’s Dream Trip brings together 80 children aged 6 to 12 from Da Nang’s Village of Hope and local orphanages for a two-day experiential retreat at Meliá Danang Beach Resort, held from June 3 to 4, 2025. Organised in collaboration with Vietnam Airlines and supported by the Vietnam Children’s Fund and SpaceSpeakers Group, the initiative offers a safe and joyful space where children can experience the magic of travel, build new skills, and create lasting memories, just in time for their summer break.
First launched in 2022, Dream Trip has touched the lives of over 250 children across Vietnam, with past editions held in Meliá Ho Tram and Meliá Vinpearl Cam Ranh Beach Resort. It remains a cornerstone of MHI’s purpose-driven approach to hospitality, focused on expanding access to meaningful experiences for underprivileged communities.
"Dream Trip was born out of a shared belief that all children deserve the opportunity to dream, learn, and thrive," said Mr. Ignacio Martin, Managing Director, Asia-Pacific, MHI. "Our enduring partnership with Vietnam Airlines and trusted local partners enables us to create powerful, transformative moments of joy and learning that go far beyond a holiday."
This year’s programme was designed to offer a rich blend of cultural exploration, creativity, and education. Highlights include a guided tour of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, aqua fitness sessions at the resort, an aviation workshop led by Vietnam Airlines pilots and cabin crew, and a hands-on creative arts session with the SpaceSpeakers Group, one of Vietnam’s most influential music collectives.
