The festival features 15 plays by eleven theatrical troupes across the country.
The 2018 Vietnam National Traditional Arts Festival aims to showcase and affirm the values of traditional Vietnamese arts. It will also be a good opportunity for artists to meet, share their professional experiences and educate younger generations on preserving and promoting traditional arts.
Under the framework of the festival, an art programme aims to pay tribute to the compatriots and soldiers in Ly Son island district, Quang Ngai province.
The programme features 400 artisans and artists from 15 clubs from Bac Ninh, Dak Lak, Da Nang, Vinh Phuc, Thanh Haa, Phu Yen and Binh Dinh.
The festival runs until October 28.
