International Olympiad students honored

VTV.vn - On Friday night in Hanoi, a ceremony was held to honor the achievements of high school students who had won medals at the International Mathematical Olympiad and the 2018 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.

The Labor Medal, third class was awarded to Nguyễn Phương Thảo, the Gold Medalist for International Biological Olympiad 2018. Phạm Đức Anh has won the Gold Medal of International Chemical Olympiad for two consecutive years.

In addition, 8 candidates received the Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister and 19 candidates received Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training.

This year, all 38 contestants from seven teams competing in the International Olympiads have won medals. All in all, 13 gold, 14 silver, and 11 bronze medals were awarded.
