"Chúng ta của 8 năm sau" (We, 8 Years Later) is the next TV series to be broadcast after "Biệt dược đen" (The Black Cure) on VTV3 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 21:40, starting on November 6. The series shows a wide range of emotions on the journey to adulthood for a group of four young friends: Lâm, Dương, Nguyệt, and Tùng. The timeline spans from the past to the present, and the production team has chosen two different casts of actors from different age groups to tell their stories. This approach allows for both humorous and heartwarming portrayals of youth, romance, sweetness, and life's challenges.

Currently, the young actors who have made a name for themselves in the film industry, such as Hoàng Hà from "Em và Trịnh" (Em and Trinh), Quốc Anh from "Bí mật của gió" (The Secret of the Wind), Trần Nghĩa from "Mắt biếc" (Blue Eyes), and Ngọc Huyền from "Gara hạnh phúc" (Garage of Happiness), "Mặt nạ gương" (The Mirror Mask), and "Đừng nói khi yêu" (No Words in Love). ... completed the first part of the series.
The on-screen couple Dương and Lâm from eight years ago (Hoàng Hà and Quốc Anh) shared their experiences of working together: "This is the first time we have traveled from the south to the north to film a TV series. At first, we had a lot of disagreements because Quốc Anh is two years younger than Hoàng Hà. But now we work very well together.”

According to Mạnh Trường, he will be paired with actress Huyền Lizzie in the series, not Thùy Anh as previously rumored. The character played by Huyền Lizzie is named Ánh Dương - which was also the original title considered by the production team.
An interesting aspect of "Chúng ta của 8 năm sau" (We, 8 Years Later) is the constant change in the fates of the characters. Dương, a radiant and optimistic girl who seems to want to open her heart and give it to the world, experiences a traumatic event that transforms her into someone without trust and purpose. Despite her initial despondency, Dương is someone who will go to great lengths to rediscover herself. She is brave enough to live, to act, to confront, and to believe that she deserves happiness.
Huyền Lizzie said: "Eight years later, playing the role of Dương is challenging and a little startling because I can't dress properly and I have to play a character who is apathetic, reckless, and uncaring, which is extremely different from my true personality. It's a new and difficult experience.
"Fortunately, my co-stars are all very close friends of mine in real life. Quỳnh Kool, who plays the role of Nguyệt, is a close friend of mine in the movie. We worked together very harmoniously, and we only needed 1-2 initial segments when we started shooting. After that, it was enough for us to look at each other to know what the other was going to say. Another great thing is that I got to work with Mạnh Trường. I always wanted to do romantic scenes with him, and now I have fulfilled that dream," added Huyền Lizzie.

The series also excited Quỳnh Kool by reuniting her with Cherry An Nhiên, who played her daughter in "Đừng làm mẹ cáu" (Don't be angry, Mom).
In the new series "Chúng ta của 8 năm sau" (We, 8 Years Later) Quỳnh Kool transforms into the character Nguyệt, a teacher, which is a mature and sophisticated role.

Quỳnh Kool plays the role of Nguyệt, a second-grade teacher whose work attire is neat and elegant. Quỳnh Kool has prepared several sweet-colored, stylish button-down shirts paired with high-waisted trousers, creating a chic and flattering look. Even from a few behind-the-scenes photos, the audience couldn't help but admire Quỳnh Kool's beautiful appearance.
Speaking about the segment revealed in the film, Quỳnh Kool affirms that this role is "dense" to ensure it doesn't overlap with her previous roles: "Baby Cam (An Nhiên) will be the catalyst for the relationship between Tùng (Bê Trần) and Nguyệt (Quỳnh Kool) in 8 years. Nguyệt is a complete person, but when she learns of her husband's betrayal, Nguyệt can be ready to die. This is a significant challenge for Quỳnh as she has to portray a teacher with style and be a wife in a family."
Along with the storyline, the cast is also a noteworthy aspect of "Chúng ta của 8 năm sau" (The 8 years later of us). The film features two sets of actors who depict different shades of their characters in two different time periods. Viewers will enjoy the youthful and innocent performances by Hoàng Hà, Quốc Anh, Trần Nghĩa, Hoàng Huyền in the past, only to later share empathy and understanding for the characters portrayed by Mạnh Trường, Huyền Lizzie, Quỳnh Kool, Bê Trần in the present.
