The festival's main activities will be organized at the Palace Hotel while the Labor and Culture House will be the venue for the Festival's opening and closing ceremonies.
This year's festival sees the competition in 9 genres, just like the previous ones. There are some modifications in regulations which are expected to heat up the competition such as accepting multi-episode documentary submissions (2 to 15 episodes) or foreign adaptation TV series.
Within the festival, a range of seminars and professional talks will be held, including a program production technique seminar, an opportunity for provincial TV stations to learn producing programs with simple equipment in the digital era.
The structure, the value of prizes and the judging panels will be the same as last year. The units will start submitting entries before 09/11/2018. Particularly, the TV series and multi-episode documentary categories will start receiving entries before October 19 with the plots attached.
In preparation for the 38th National Television Festival, a delegation of Vietnam Television visited the Lam Dong province to inspect the venue of the festival's activities.
