At the meeting, both sides praised the development of relations between the two countriesduring the past 40 years. In particular, the establishment of the strategic partnership in 2013 showed strong ties between the two countries and created a framework for both nations to enter a period of strong growth. Deputy Prime Minister Minh valued efforts by both nations to organise events to mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations and hope the strategic partnership with Thailand would continue to flourish in the future.
