The Go Market Festival kicked off on the first day of the Lunar New Year and featured two whole days of excitement. The event presented many delicacies such as aquaculture products from Thi Nai Lagoon, fruits and cakes from Cho Huyen, and Qui Nhon fishcakes. The festival was the first market session of the year intended to bring prosperity for the Year of the Rooster. For this reason, prices at the market were favourable and there was no bartering involved. The festival also featured folk games and martial arts performances to promote local culture and history.
