On the occasion, the Politburo member visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dang Thi Thi in Hai Dinh Commune, Hai Lang District; the family of wounded soldier Le Xuan Phi, in Dien Sanh Town, Hai Lang District; and officials and employees of Hai Lang District Health Centre. He also visited and sent Tet greetings to officers and soldiers of the Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard, and offered incense at the National Martyrs Cemetery Road 9 and Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery.
Also on January 24, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC Office Le Minh Hung and leaders of the northern province of Bac Ninh visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Ngan, at the Co Me residential area, Vu Ninh Ward, Bac Ninh City, Bac Ninh Province, ahead of the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.
The Party official extended his wishes of good health and happiness to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Ngan, affirming that the Party and State always care for and support policy beneficiaries and those who rendered service to the nation.
He told authorised agencies, the local administration to continue caring for national contributors through practical activities to improve the lives of policy beneficiaries.
On the same day, Member of the PCC and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong visited and extended Tet greetings to the Party committee, administration and people in the central coastal province of Binh Dinh.
The NA Vice Chairman also visited and presented Tet gifts to 50 policy families and poor households in Binh Thanh Commune, Tay Son District, Binh Dinh Province.
