VTV.vn - The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee (HCYCC) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, coordinated and organised the Talk show "Strengthening Eurasian Connection: Perspectives and Roles and Contributions of Youth".

At the programme, youth union members and young people from across the country, had the opportunity to learn about the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) through three topics, "Eurasian Connection - Current situation and prospects of cooperation", “Role of ASEM” and “Youth and youth organisations in participating in youth cooperation in Eurasia”.

ASEM was officially established in March 1996.

Over 25 years since joining the founding of ASEM, Vietnam has always been an active, dynamic and responsible member, recording significant milestones in ASEM's development journey.

Up until now, Vietnam has been considered as one of the most active members of the forum, proposing 29 initiatives and cosponsoring 31 initiatives, in practical fields with localities, businesses and people, such as: culture, health, transportation, energy security, food security, climate change, science-technology, tourism, economy, green growth, social security, inclusive development, digital economy and women empowerment.

At the programme, the youth delegates also had the opportunity to share and discuss with the speakers, on the topic "Roles and contributions of youth in ASEM cooperation" and participate in online quiz games about ASEM.
