The police have identified the three suspects as Lý Đình Vũ, Nguyễn Chương Đại, and Hoàng Văn Thám. Police questioned Nguyen Chuong Dai and Hoang Van Tham. The two men said that, on October 6, they were hired by Lý Đình Vũ to drive a truck from Bac Ninh to Thanh Ha Brick and Pottery Company in Phu Tho town, Phu Tho province to collect 10 containers of oil with a total capacity of about 10m3. On October 8, all three of them transported the waste to Quyet Tien hamlet, Ky Son district, Hoa Binh province in order to dispose of it illegally. Hoa Binh Province’s police have detained Nguyen Chuong Dai and Hoang Van Tham, and are still searching for Ly Dinh Vu.
