Currently, a large number of containers have been stuck in Quy Nhon port for two weeks. Only vessels with water lines of up to 8 meters are allowed to move in and out of the port. Furthermore, the time for entering and exiting the port is now limited to 5am to 6pm.
About 1000 wood products containers can't be exported through Quy Nhon port. This may lead to heavy losses for domestic businesses because they won't be able to deliver on time. Binh Dinh Province's People's Committee has asked for the salvage work to be completed by mid-December but efforts are proving slow and ineffective.
