Right in the middle of the flood zone in Hồng Ngự District, Đồng Tháp Province, hundreds of students have to cross a river to school. Hồng Ngự district has more than 300 students who are Vietnamese living in Cambodia. During the flood season, Sở Thượng River becomes a raging torrent. For safety reasons, most of the children have to be accompanied by an adult to school.
