State President Trương Tấn Sang met with Kanagawa Prefecture Governor Yuji Kuroiwa at the Presidential Palace in Hanoi on Oct 16.
At the meeting, President Sang affirmed that the cooperation between local governments of the two countries has high potential.

He also highly valued the Governor’s efforts and initiative to enhance collaboration with Vietnam. On his part, Governor Yuji appreciated the cooperation between the prefecture with Viet Nam’s localities and Kanagawa enterprises’ projects currently operating in Viet Nam.
He also highlighted that the number of Japanese businesses wanting to expand investment in Vietnam has been on the rise.
