State President meets Czech Foreign Minister

At the meeting, President Sang praised the Czech Republic for the support it provided to Vietnam during the country’s national liberation struggle.

The president said he was pleased with the positive developments of the two countries’ political-diplomatic and business ties. Regarding the East Sea, President Sang said Vietnam was determined to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity by peaceful means in accordance with international law. Czech Foreign Minister Lubomir Zaoralek emphasised that the two countries should seize the opportunity to strengthen their business ties.
