On September 27th, President Truong Tan Sang attended Annual Meeting of Global Initiative 2015 held by US Former President Bill Clinton, with the participation of over 100 Head of State, Prime Minister, 14 Nobel Award Winners, hundreds of leaders of world corporations, charitable and non-governmental organizations.
On this occasion, President Truong Tan Sang had a met with the former president. On behalf of Leaders and Citizens of Vietnam, President Sang thanked President Clinton for the support of normalizing and bettering US-Vietnam relations over the past 20 years.
President highly appreciated for valuable works of Clinton Foundation in Vietnam, especially for HIV/AIDS, malaria and other infectious diseases’ care and treatment.
President Sang also offered Clinton Foundation to support more about charitable activities in order to improve socioeconomic in Vietnam.
US Former President Bill Clinton thanked Vietnamese State President and Leaders for the concern towards Clinton Foundation. He promised to raise fund and enhance initiatives, new projects to help Vietnam during socioeconomic developing progress as well as preventions of consequences from climate change.
