The stamp, designed by painter To Minh Trang of the Vietnam Post Corporation, features the number 90 on the Party’s flag with a portrait of late President Ho Chi Minh, the founder of the Party.
It also shows the image of a dove which signifies peace and national independence, along with some structures representing the country’s achievements in economy, industrialisation and modernisation under the Party’s leadership.
Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Pham Anh Tuan said the stamp is hoped to help improve public awareness of the Party and affirm the Party’s role, prestige, leadership capacity, combat strength and faithfulness to the nation’s interests over the past nine decades.
The stamp measures 43mm by 32mm and has a face value of VND4,000. It will be available on the public postal network from January 31, 2020, to December 31, 2021.
