According to the police, the same groups that carried out the Easter blasts have threatened to attack mosques where Muslim religious leaders are buried. An increasing number of security forces have been mobilized across the country. Many shops and restaurants remain closed in Colombo, where a nighttime curfew has been in effect.
The police have released a number of photographs of purported suspects, including 2 sons of spice merchant Mohamed Ibrahim. Almost all are from wealthy and well-educated backgrounds.
