Spring Travel contains 4 chapters: Chapter 1: Cultural Heroes Hung Vuong - Lang Lieu and the Beginning of Wet Rice Farming; Chapter 2: Vietnamese Bamboo: From Thanh Giong Bamboo to Vietnamese Diplomatic Philosophy in the 21st Century; Chapter 3: Dong Son Culture: The Source of Civilization; Chapter 4: Mother Goddess Worship - The Mother Goddess Religion and Vietnam's Strength Base: Harmony with Nature and the Agricultural Universe.
The program takes viewers to places with many historical remains. The first stage of the Spring Travel is a reunion with some typical cultural heroes of the King Hung period. Dr Nguyen Viet and Nhat Nam, as experienced figures, went to the banh chung making village of Hung Lo (Phu Tho) to learn the process of wrapping and cooking banh chung with the local people.
The program will also take the audience to the National History Museum to hear stories about the Bronze Drum, visit pagodas in Bac Ninh and Phu Day relics in Nam Dinh to learn about the Vietnamese belief in worshipping the Mother Goddess...
