VTV.vn - The program "The Words He Left Behind" took place at the historic Ba Dinh Square, bringing many emotions to the guests and the audience.

The program, organized by the Central Committee for Education and Communication of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Vietnam Television, was held at Ba Dinh Square in  Hanoi  on the evening of August 30. It commemorated 55 the 55th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's will   and the 55th anniversary of his passing (September 2, 1969 - September 2, 2024).

Viewers were deeply moved as they revisited simple archival footage and images of Uncle Ho. Scenes of him writing on a wicker chair or typing at a wooden desk, his bookshelf, and the box labeled "Absolutely Secret," where he stored important documents, were shown. Among the items on display were the  Hermet typewriter he used to write the 1965 version of his will, pens of various inks   he used, envelopes containing "Absolutely Secret" materials, and the historic moment at 9:47 AM on September 2, 1969, when he passed away after a heart attack, marking the "paused moment of history".

In addition to archival clips and interviews about the will, "The Words He Left Behind" was intertwined with meticulously choreographed performances featuring many songs about Uncle Ho, such as "Ai yêu Bác Hồ Chí Minh hơn thiếu niên nhi đồng" (Who Loves Uncle Ho More Than the Youth), "Ca ngợi Hồ Chủ tịch" (Praise to President Ho), "Lời Bác dặn trước lúc đi xa" (Uncle’s Words Before Leaving), "Lời ca dâng Bác" (Song Dedicated to Uncle), "Đất nước trọn niềm vui" (The Nation's Complete Joy), and "Như có Bác trong ngày vui đại thắng" (As If Uncle Ho Were with Us on the Glorious Day of Victory). Notably, many attendees at Ba Dinh Square sang and clapped along to these songs about Uncle Ho.
