The annual function jointly organised by the Vietnam National Documentary and Scientific Film Studio and the EU Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) aims to strengthen cultural ties and exchanges between European countries and Vietnam.
The nine-day event features a range of outstanding and award-winning documentaries from both Vietnam and Europe about rural areas, climate change, famous artists, and social development.
Vietnamese audiences will have the chance to enjoy the free screening of nine documentary films from Austria, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Spain, the UK, and Israel, along with 13 films from Vietnam.
All of the films screened at the festival are outstanding works which embrace the cultural identity of their respective countries.
