On the morning ofAugust 30, the VTV Tennis Tournament 2024 officially kicked off at Tay Ho Sports Hall, Hanoi. The event is organised by the VTV Trade Union organizes the event together with the VTV Youth Union. This tournament provides a valuable opportunity for VTV editors, reporters, cameramen, technicians, staff, and workers to socialize, build camaraderie, and show their passion for tennis.
Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Dinh Dac Vinh - Deputy General Director, Chairman of the VTV Trade Union, and Head of the Organizing Committee; Mr. Phung Van Hiep - Secretary of the VTV Youth Union, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee. Representatives from sponsors included Ms. Duong Thi Hanh - General Director of Natuza Vietnam JSC; Ms. Ha Thu Thuy - Director of 1010 Thang Long Investment Co., Ltd. Also present were members of the Standing Committee, VTV Trade Union Executive Committee, VTV Youth Union, leaders, and Trade Union representatives from VTV's units, along with over 60 athletes from VTV's departments.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Dinh Dac Vinh - Deputy General Director, Chairman of the VTV Trade Union, and Head of the Organizing Committee - wished the athletes good health and an enjoyable competition with fair play and sportsmanship. Immediately after the opening ceremony, the tennis matches commenced with great excitement and intensity.
