To encourage more businesses from South Korea to invest in Vietnam, a conference was organised by the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency in Hanoi. South Korean enterprises with good corporate social responsibility records were given awards at the event. South Korea is currently the leading country investing in Vietnam. About 4,100 South Korean firms have sunk 6.4 billion US dollars, accounting for 31% of total investment into Vietnam. In 2015, bilateral trade turnover between the two countries reached $ 30 billion, and this predicted to rise to 70 billion in the next 4 years.
