Communications equipment offered to fishermen in coastal provinces

A ceremony to donate the equipment took place in Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan southern province on Sunday, Dec 20^th, where nearly 400 thousand USD in public donations was received. The ICOM radios will be installed in ships without communication equipment, and are expected to help fishermen get weather forecast updates so that they can avoid storms.
