According to the scenario three suspected terrorists are trying to use fake passports to evade the Mong Cai Border Gate to enter Chinese territory. But through joint action they are arrested swiftly.

Head, Bac Luan International Border Station, Quang Ninh Province – said: “This is the first time we’ve co-operated. We had some minor adjustments during the drills, but in general, the two sides worked together nicely. We kept contact with each other directly, through meetings and also via a hotline. The two sides met often to help with organising the drill”.
The drill took three months to prepare and aims to help test and improve the ability of the Chinese and Vietnamese border guards in the area in coping with emergency incidents. The two sides agreed organize more drills after this one.
Colonel Ning Peng Cheng - Deputy Head of Dongxing International Border Station, Guangxi Province, China – said: “In the coming time, we’ll strengthen our co-operation with the border guards in Mong Cai, Quang Ninh Province. We’ll firstly organise more meetings so both sides can meet and share experiences”.
Drills like these are expected to help both countries prepare for possible future incidents.
