Parks in District 1 and central district of Ho Chi Minh City will be renovated in the coming time to improve and beautify the surface of the city, as well as attract more people to visit the Uncle Ho-named city.
Specifically, Paris Commune Park will be inspired by the architecture of the Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica and Central Post Office while renovation to maintain the cultural and historic values.
This was proposed by the District 1 People’s Committee after visitors complain that trees and plantation at the central parks were quite boring and mediocre.
Previously, Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica was closed for general restoration.
