According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), total seafood exports for the year are expected to reach around 7.4 billion USD, a 6% rise over last year's figure.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development says this year, alongside developing exports, the domestic aquaculture sector will also be a field of heightened priority, with many promotional programs set to hit the domestic market. Currently, Vietnam exports seafood to 161 markets around the world./.
