In the Turkish capital Ankara, President Putin will engage in bilateral talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan regarding the S-400 deal, in which Russia will sell 2.5 million USD worth of S400 surface-to-air missiles to Turkey.
This has worried Turkey's allies in the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, including the US. In addition, Russian and Turkish leaders will also discuss the Syrian conflict. Russia, Turkey and Iran supported the ceasefire in Syria. Their joint effort has helped ease tension as well as led to the failure of the Islamic State.
