The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in collaboration with the UNICEF provided emergency supplies yesterday April 3, consisting of clean water and to help local people in Binh Dinh Province overcome the consequences of Typhoon Damrey, which affected Vietnam during November 2017.
In Cát Chánh Commune, Phù Cát District, two water purifiers have been supplied for Cát Chánh Secondary School. Each purifier has the capacity of 70 litres an hour, serving 800 students in the commune. 43 2,000 litre capacity water tanks and 100 water filters were also provided to households and schools in lowland areas prone to frequent flooded.
Additionally, each household in the commune also received a personal hygiene kit including soap, toothbrush, toothpaste and the documents about clean water and a guide to cleaning the environment after floods.
