The Week 2, Month 2, Quarter 3 match of Road to Olympia Mount – 25th episode brought together four talented contestants: Dang Thi Thu Ha (Bien Hoa Specialized High School, Ha Nam), Hoang Van Quyen (Hoang Le Kha Specialized High School, Tay Ninh), Do Thi Quynh Ngan (Da Phuc High School, Hanoi), and Nguyen Hai Tien (Yen Phong 1 High School, Bac Ninh). Each contestant showcased unique strengths and strategies, creating a highly competitive and engaging match.
The match began with the Individual Warm-Up round, where Van Quyen took the early lead with 40 points. Meanwhile, Thu Ha, Quynh Ngan, and Hai Tien all got off to a solid start, earning 30 points each. In the subsequent General Warm-Up round, Van Quyen continued to shine, boosting her score to 80 points. Thu Ha made notable progress, scoring 45 points. She was closely followed by Quynh Ngan with 40 points, and Hai Tien holding steady with 30 points.
The Overcome Obstacle round brought the studio to an emotional high when Quynh Ngan correctly revealed the keyword “Nguyen Du”. She impressed the audience by reciting two famous lines by the great national poet:
“Over three hundred years have passed,
Who in this world still weeps for To Nhu?”
Van Quyen further extended her lead with a strong performance, bringing her total score to 100. Thu Ha advanced to 65 points, and Hai Tien reached 40. Both continued to show strong determination and resilience.
In the Speed-up round, all four contestants fiercely competed. Van Quyen maintained her lead with quick and accurate answers, climbing to 180 points. Thu Ha surged forward with 155 points, Quynh Ngan stayed close behind with 150 points, and Hai Tien trailed with 100 points. With the scores still close, the competition headed into a nail-biting Finish round.
Van Quyen went first in the Finish round, choosing a set of three 20-point questions. However, she failed to answer all three, allowing Thu Ha to capitalize on the opportunity and gain 20 points on the last question.
Thu Ha then took on her 20-point question set, answering two correctly to raise her score to 215.
Next, Quynh Ngan chose a set valued at 20, 20, and 30 points. She could not answer the second star of hope question, giving Van Quyen the chance to earn 20 more points. Unfortunately, Quynh Ngan did not earn any additional points in this round.
Lastly, Hai Tien selected a question set worth 30, 20, and 30 points. He answered two questions correctly, scoring 55 points, but lost the star of hope question to Quynh Ngan.
After four rounds, Thu Ha claimed the laurel wreath for this week’s match with 240 points and officially secured a place in the Month 2, Quarter 3 round of the Road to Olympia Mount.
