The competition heated up in the Overcome Obstacle round. As soon as the first clue piece was revealed, Gia Khanh rang the bell and gave the keyword “Red Rain”. His correct answer earned him 60 points,  and put him in  the lead after the second round, ahead of Gia Bao, Duc Anh, and Xuan Hung.

The Speed-up round, which gave contestants the opportunity to boost their scores, created an intense atmosphere as the standings changed  rapidly.  Gia Khanh led the leaderboard  with 250 points. Gia Bao made efforts to narrow the gap and reached 180 points before the Finish round. Xuan Hung had 50 points, and Duc Anh 150.

As the contestant with the highest score, Gia Khanh chose a trio of 20-point questions for his Finish round. However, he failed to answer all three. This opened up a significant opportunity for Gia Bao, who correctly answered two of the questions,  bringing  his total to 220 points, just  10 behind the leader.

For his Finish round, Gia Bao also selected three 20-point questions. By correctly answering two out of three, he climbed to 260 points and took   the lead. The match grew even more dramatic.

Duc Anh stepped into the Finish round with a 20-30-20 package. He missed the first question, correctly answered the Math question, and activated the Star of Hope for his final question. This decision earned him 40 bonus points, bringing his total to 200 .

The last contestant, Xuan Hung, chose three 30-point questions but was unable to answer any of them. Notably,  Gia Khanh rang the bell and answered  the second question correctly, equalizing his score with Gia Bao. That meant the champion would be decided by Xuan Hung’s final question. In a moment of suspense, Gia Khanh rang the bell and delivered his answer, despite not being completely certain.

His answer was correct, and with it, Gia Khanh officially secured victory and claimed the laurel wreath of the week’s Road to Olympia Mount episode.
