This is recorded as the highest rate of luxury offerings since the real estate market suffered a crisis, and thus, has led to competition among real estate companies. In order to attract customers, investors are offering many preferential policies along with providing public services for new residential areas.
This residential area was built many years ago. Public services like parking spaces are limited. There are not even enough trees to cool down the air in hot weather.
"There are only a few trees but a lot of buildings. It gets annoying when the weather is hot." - Vo Nhat Thang, Resident, Hanoi.
Seeing the disadvantages of old residential areas, new projects have offered customers a living environment full of public services with schools, hospitals, shopping centers and gym centers.
"The living conditions here are good. Elderly people like me can walk around and the kids have their own playground." - Nguyen Thi Nga, Resident, Times City, Hanoi.
"Customers need more than just a place to live. Thus, we focus on creating high standard residential areas." - Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh, General Director, Vinhomes Real Estate Trading and Management Company LTD.
According to experts, the appearance of new high quality residential areas is a good sign for the overall planning of the city.
"Customers are interested in high standard residential areas like Time City or Royal City as they offer many services for residents." - Dao Ngoc Nghiem, Deputy Chairman, Association of Hanoi's Planning and Urban Development.
Besides offering such services, investors also encourage customers to buy houses by working with banks to support them in borrowing money. Experts believe that actions like these have created a preferential situation for customers.
