In Quang Binh province, the heat has damaged nearly 1000 hectares of rice along with hundreds of hectares of crops. Although local authorities and farmers have implemented a number of solutions to cope with the drought, many dams have dried up and are not enough irrigation water. If in the next 10 days, the weather continues to remain hot without rain, areas of the summer-autumn rice will be at risk of being lost.
