Japan is willing to help Vietnam train doctors in radiation therapy to treat cancer according to the Japanese Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Hiroshi Hase during the reception with Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc on Wednesday. The Vietnamese prime minister appreciated the growing co-operation in education between the two nations and hoped Japan will continue to support Vietnam in this field, particularly training 1,000 doctors in Japan over the next 5 years. The Japanese minister said Japan was also keen to introduce elements of Japanese education and training to Vietnam in the coming time.
